Cancellation policy

Transparency so you can book with complete peace of mind.

To guarantee the quality of our hikes and honor our logistical commitments, the Fundación Colombiana de Caminantes Sal Si Puedes establishes the following considerations:

Cancellation by the participant

Full refund of the amount paid when cancelling 48 hours (2 days) before the hike, or you can keep it as credit for a future route.
50% refund of the total amount when cancelling 24 hours (1 day) before the hike.
If you do not show up on the day of the hike there is no refund, since all logistical costs are covered at 100%.

Transferring your spot

You may transfer your spot to another person with no penalty, as long as you let us know by Friday at 4:00 p.m. so we can update the medical assistance insurance details.

Changes due to weather or force majeure

Routes are not cancelled because of rain, unless the guides consider there is a real risk (landslides, electrical storms, etc.).
In the event of force majeure (road closures, public order issues or critical weather risks) the activity is rescheduled. If you cannot attend the new date, you receive a 100% refund or keep the amount as credit.

Cancellation due to minimum quorum

Each outing requires a minimum of 10 participants to cover the basic logistical costs.
If the group is not filled, the Foundation gives notice at least 24 hours in advance. You can choose a full 100% refund or keep the amount as credit for a future hike.
